This past winter was a miserable one. I say miserable, meaning that we hardly had any snow! The land is so dry. Combining dry conditions and stupid people has made for one huge fire season, and we are only at the end of June. From my back deck, I have a gorgeous view of Mt. Timpanogos, however, the view today is nothing except for smoky air. So smoky in fact, that even being outside makes your eyes burn.
A special thanks to the fire fighters and the many others who have kept most structures safe, more importantly, who have kept all people safe.
It is hot, windy and dreadful here in the desert. And I am dreaming of gorgeous places.
