eating clean

I recently went to Kristie Rosser, a fantastic NP who specializes in ‘optimal living’. I have learned so much from the great books I have read and from the research I have done. Here is what I have learned about eating clean:

  1. Eat lots of plants – eat foods off a tree, bush, plant or vine
  2. Enjoy grains – eat grains that are still complete
  3. Read labels
  4. Eat 5-6 small meals per day (eating often keeps your metabolism running strong!)
